Ever have one of those days where you just can't get in The Zone? (BTW....it blows me away what you can find in wikipedia these days)
I'm having one of those days...hell, I'm having one of those weeks. I've tried stepping away and doing something completely un-related. I've tried forcing myself to work on fun stuff, boring stuff and everything in between....but it's just not happening.
I'm at the end of my rope and have resorted to a method that's been known to work, although not 100%....headphones on, Metallica in the playlist, volume cranked way the fuck up....
If this doesn't work....maybe I'll get off my ass and hit the treadmill for a bit. A friend and I have a bet to see who can lose the most weight by Oct 31. So far...in our weekly weigh-ins, neither of us have made any ground...I'm still hanging around 207 and he's coming in at a tubby (yes....tubby) 234. :-D
BTW...if anyone has any suggestions for getting in the zone / groove / flow / whatever-the-hell-you-wanna-call-it, let me know.
