To continue the theme I started in my last post (and to try to jumpstart my blogging again), here are the apps I consider most useful:
1. Mindjet MindManager Pro - I use this for everything from task tracking to software design to article writing.
2. Microsoft Outlook 2003 - do i need to say anything about this one?
3. Sharpreader - I love it until it consumes 150mb+ of RAM.
4. Virtual PC - couldn't be a software developer without it.
5. Adobe Photoshop - Tried the gimp...didn't like it. typically use it for website design.
6. Excel - tough to get by without a good spreadsheet app.
7. Word - yea...I only use 20% of the features, but unfortunately, ViM can't do it all.
Wow...that looks like it...I'll do another list with my list of useful development tools and useful websites soon.
